Came here often for a takeout. Takeout price is 15-20% higher than dining at the restaurant if compared with Panda Express. Food is good and offers many selections. The place is clean and the staff are friendly (Togo experience). Next time, I would rather dine-in and not do a takeout anymore.

The food was alright. Some things delicious and some were OK. We liked the gyozas, coconut shrimp, spring rolls, beef broccoli, and chow mein. The sushi was good but nothing special. The service wasn't bad, the staff was quick. The restaurant is nicely decorated. But the floor seemed dirty. We went Saturday morning and it was crowded. Overall, I would recommend this place is you are super hungry and are craving Asian and sea foods. For $25 you can eat all you want.

As a Buffett, Golden Koi is great. Great variety of food to suit every taste. Good sushi too. It may not be for everyone but I think it's great. NOTE: recommend going there in Saturdays or Sundays. It's usually packed but due to the number of people eating, the food is always fresh.

I loveeee this buffet and I come here with my family specifically for their crab legs. They have a lot of options to choose from like a cold food bar, different types of Chinese food, a grill station, sushi, desserts, and much more. The price you pay for dinner is definitely worth it if you're a crab lover like me! There's certain entrees I'm not very fond of, but it's a buffet and as a guest YOU choose what makes you happy! The servers are great and always friendly. They're quick to make sure drinks are refilled in a timely matter. The restaurant itself is really nice, but certain holidays it can get extremely packed and loud. The only complaint would be the woman's bathroom. There's wads of toilet paper that's stuck to the ceiling (pretty sure from some bad kids) and it's kinda icky to look at walking in. Other than that this is a great place to bring your family if you're in the mood for tons of food

Service was excellent, had my refills on time and table cleaned so fast . Kind people. Food was very good , mostly coming for crab legs and it's delicious. It was busy but they kept up and my family liked everything a lot.

On my last trip down to the Roseville/Rocklin area for work, I couldn't let it go by without a trip to my fave Chinese buffet, the Golden Koi. Last I was here was like 3 years ago and wow, the prices have sure gone up, well, like everywhere else. 3 years ago lunch was $10.99 such a deal! Now it's $16.99 in just 3 years! Hey, still worth it, not just the killer deal it once was. The food is all about the same items so same food just more money, such is life! The interior is still very clean and upscale, for a Chinese buffet anyways. My friends and I got here just after opening, so all the food would be fresh and hot and not picked over by all the other people eating here. We kinda had a different thing in mind for lunch than a Chinese buffet, we were gonna have a sports bar experience! Heck, you can do that here with all you can eat fried chicken wings and ribs and even french fries! Beer is served so there you go! The server was very attentive once she knew we were ordering beers and not just one each! Keep 'em coming! Heading to the ribs first, I was met with a huge pile of delicious looking ribs. Big full sized ribs! The chicken wings were large as well, none of those dinky sports bar wings here! and of course I had to bring back to the table a plate load of fries to share! All the other Chinese food is here to enjoy, hot and fresh, if you care to. There's even dessert if you like. The ribs were delicious and meaty, no messin' around here! The wings were crispy and hot and went well with our beers and fries. My friend commented, he'd never done anything like this before, making a sports bar food and drink experience out of a Chinese buffet! and all for the low price of about $20 inc. tax and tip for all you can eat food! Beers? well, some drink more than others! A great time was had by all and we took a Uber back to the hotel .. I knew there was gonna be some drinkin goin on. Come to the Golden Koi for one of the best Chinese buffets in the area, tons of selections. Just don't get here 20 min before closing and expect that there will be fresh hot food for you.
